What Do You Want to Clean Out of Your Life?

Life, like a vacuum, often sucks. Just like that, we are one month gone in the calendar year two thousand and twelve. Global warming is making its presence known as I have yet to break out my shiny, puffy winter coat (waste of a birthday gift), and tomorrow it;s already Create A Vacuum Day. Our partners over at Tonic.com are celebrating CAVD to the absolute fullest and we figured it would be appropriate if we followed suit.
Quite frankly I have no clue as to what the hell this holiday is supposed to be celebrating. Is it even possible to create a vacuum with just household tools? I honestly don’t know and I have no intention of finding out -- I;s rather imagine that I already have this imaginary vacuum and that this said vacuum possesses the supernatural power to clean and suck all the bad out of my life. Yes, I am now resorting to an imaginary vacuum to fix all of my life problems (take that real therapy sessions!).
Even though things aren’t so bad on my end (I lost a few pounds, started a new job and am back on the dating scene), I still get down on myself quite easily. Focusing on all the negative stuff that’s going on in my life has always been easier for me then concentrating on the good. I could use a magical vacuum right now; if not to permanently get rid of the bad stuff I have going on than to at least get rid of the constant thoughts I have running circles inside my head. Suck, suck, suck.
