I am a wordsmith. A working journalist and editor. A magazine junkie. A member of the core team of uber-cool people behind SoulPancake (though I make no such claim to being that cool). And I consider myself a lucky woman because I get to do what I love every day.

I'm a writer with a taste for design, and a Soulpancake contributor with a craving for creativity. I love coffee so much that I drink tea for breakfast. I'm always on the lookout for useless trivia or artistic inspiration. Always.

In November 2009, SP ruled. Then it sucked. Now I'm back two years later and it rules again.

I am an actor and a writer and I co-created SoulPancake and my son, Walter.

I've been told that my laugh is like the sound of the look of the legs of dancing flamingos. I can command my hands to sweat, but haven't figured out how to turn off this action. I have jumped out of a plane before. I love the fact that love is so readily available and accessible, and in so many different forms. A good tune does astounding things to my soul. I feel humbled to be part of the SP think-tank; it allows me to release creativity on a regular basis. Sometimes when I look at people I only see lights. That always makes me smile.

"Sweet zombie Jesus" is one of my favorite exclamations. I frequently make cat noises and know that I know more than I think I know and yet absolutely nothing.
I'm a lover of all things creative, mythic, mystic and whatever makes us dig the buttery goldmine of human consciousness. Mmm...pancakes...
