Once upon a time there was a crooked tree and a straight tree, they grew next to each other. Every day the straight tree would look at the crooked tree and he would say, "You're crooked. You've always been crooked and you'll continue to be crooked. But look at me! Look at me!" said the straight tree. "I'm tall and I'm straight." And then one day the lumberjacks came into the forest and looked around, and the manager said, "Cut all the straight trees." And that crooked tree is still there to this day, growing strong and growing strange.
A little about me? Well lets see..I am a music, movie and book lover. I play the violin when time allows for it. I enjoy meeting new people and learning from them. I hope they can learn from me too. I don't like rude people and find it hard to deal with....not-so-bright folks in the world. I generally mind my own business but have no problem speaking up when need be. Have been on the spiritual path since 1999, moved here to San Diego about 4 years ago and im really getting into all forms of spritiuality. One thing that i have learned is that there truly are many paths to the one God/Source!
I love learning form many of them.
I am a therapist with kids, teens and adults. I use expressive therapies like art and play with a spiritual focus. I am a journeyer and spend a month in the rainforest every year. Save the rainforest!
I have a hard time defining myself. I think I might be an artists traped in a thinkers brain. I'm INTJ if that means anything to you. Least likely of the Myers-Briggs types to believe in God-there's a fun fact, but I have believed in God for much of my life albeit in varrying theological structures. I suffer from chronic poor spelling, or others suffer from my poor spelling depending on you're pov.

I came to this site open minded and ready to learn. I leave this site disappointed at many of the people who feel the need to constantly attack my faith, my politics, my God, and any opinion other than their own. While they pride themselves on being free thinkers, they are actually victims of their own love of self, and their own close mindedness. It makes me sad actually, but I will pray that all of them find the real truth, and not be blinded to it.
