I'm the writer and creator of the ultra famous exciting blog The Wilder Coast: http://www.thewildercoast.com. I eat Soulpancakes for dinner and I wish my last name was Samberg. That's about it! Hi!

I like to watch Kids in the Hall, read, tell jokes, and pretend I'm not at work when I am at work.

i live for 80 degree weather, my tweezers, and a lot of laughter.

grew up outside of nashville, tennessee - but have lived in seattle, washington for the past 10 years. i am in love with discovering the secret murk of people's lives. the good stuff.

also, i have a slight obsession with poorly done russian accents, and the inappropriately funny - and i am excited to be part of the SoulPancake BrainLab:)

Writing nonsense is the greatest and cheapest form of therapy one can have. I hate making plans. I love breaking plans. I always wondered why people work out if they hate it so much. Thanks for reading.

Wherever I happen to be.

I am a green teen,
Vegetarian I am,
I live life to the fullest.

Clearly, I am not a poet.

I am a wordsmith. A working journalist and editor. A magazine junkie. A member of the core team of uber-cool people behind SoulPancake (though I make no such claim to being that cool). And I consider myself a lucky woman because I get to do what I love every day.

Oh the places you will go...

I'm a writer with a taste for design, and a Soulpancake contributor with a craving for creativity. I love coffee so much that I drink tea for breakfast. I'm always on the lookout for useless trivia or artistic inspiration. Always.

You can also find me writing webtastic stuff at themetaQ.com.

i co-created soulpancake, i'm getting pretty good at musical typing on garageband, and i really like these words:
"The art of music is divine and effective. It is the food of the soul and spirit. Through the power and charm of music the spirit of man is uplifted." // Abdu'l-Baha

I've been told that my laugh is like the sound of the look of the legs of dancing flamingos. I can command my hands to sweat, but haven't figured out how to turn off this action. I have jumped out of a plane before. I love the fact that love is so readily available and accessible, and in so many different forms. A good tune does astounding things to my soul. I feel humbled to be part of the SP think-tank; it allows me to release creativity on a regular basis. Sometimes when I look at people I only see lights. That always makes me smile.

Paula Cannoli is my nom de pen. Amelia Blanquera is the real one. For all of you aspiring writers, I'm proof that you can jump from the Collective, to the Brainlab, and now column, "Almost, Not Quite Right." My advice? Just show up, every day or whenever you can. Inspiration might not come right away. Wait for it. In the meantime, have a look around SP.

Frequently accidentally offensive. Sorry in advance.

If you touch me with a compliment, I get shy and forget to say thank you so, just in case, thank you in advance too.

Honored to be a member of the SP Team.

I love music more than anything. I also love video games, orange juice, trees, Michigan winters, Austrian summers, and am very allergic to guinea pigs.
