I'm from Tennessee, but I've been in California since 2004. My loves are hip hop music, raw humor, and every little dark thing in life worth laughing at.
I really enjoy history and philosophy and really don't like instant quick grits. Marinate on that for a minute.
Besides my immediate family, three other huge influences have been Bruce Lee, Will Hunting, and Jules Winnfield. As of now, I just want to be a man with a job.

Well, at the moment I am a sophomore in high school. I saw the SoulPancake book on Conan, one of my favorite shows next to the Office. So, imagine my excitement when Rainn Wilson walked across the stage and shook my favorite talk show host's hand. I am going to read the book. I promise. I just need to buy it first! So, here is a quick summery of me and my life. The Beatles, brownie sundaes, sass attack, doggies, pottery, allergic to plaster, scottish, photography, hiking, margarita salt, halloween=favorite holiday, Frank Sinatra, gum, etc...
People tell me I have good posture. I have the constellation Cassiopeia in freckles on my left forearm. I'm pretty sure I'm some kind of superhero, I just haven't found my power yet. Also, I tend to lose a lot of items temporarily in coat pockets. I received my first hickey by force after being tricked into a hug by a boy who died tragically young; the story of my love-life in a nutshell. I truly believe that every human being is capable of great and beautiful things. That is what I see when I look at you, no matter who you are.
I'm Chris Wood. My favorite drink is a Manhattan, my favorite actor is Matt Dillon, and my favorite food is hand-tossed pizza with crushed tomatoes, ricotta, and sweet Italian sausage. I really like Sam Elliot (especially as Gar in "Mask") but when it comes down to it, Matt Dillon just outpaces him in depth of catalogue. I work at SoulPancake. I don't follow directions very well, I'm not a very good photographer and I don't believe in God.
I've been told that my laugh is like the sound of the look of the legs of dancing flamingos. I can command my hands to sweat, but haven't figured out how to turn off this action. I have jumped out of a plane before. I love the fact that love is so readily available and accessible, and in so many different forms. A good tune does astounding things to my soul. I feel humbled to be part of the SP think-tank; it allows me to release creativity on a regular basis. Sometimes when I look at people I only see lights. That always makes me smile.

Facilitating growth through empowerment is her passion. A book worm and nerd at heart, she’s always ready to run with the cool kids, with their Lavazza espressos and Fugu sashimi, even though chai lattes and teriyaki chicken are usually more her speed.
