I am a widower and I am retired military. I recently began to study the bible and found it very difficult so I searched for books about the bible. I found the author Bart D Ehrman. I have since read several of his books and have found him to be very logical person. In short the bible is a very human book. If it was inspired by a god it has been altered many times by humans through out the centuries. I now find all religions to be human based and totally unreliable.
