Good friends, my Readers, who peruse this Book,
Be not offended, whilst on it you look:
Denude yourselves of all depraved affection,
For it contains no badness, nor infection:
'Tis true that it brings forth to you no birth
Of any value, but in point of mirth;
Thinking therefore how sorrow might your mind
Consume, I could no apter subject find;
One inch of joy surmounts of grief a span;
Because to laugh is proper to the man.
I'm a student learning the ways of movie magic. I hope to one day be a director and make my own feature length film. I believe that life is full of magic and wonder that can be found anywhere. I also feel that the capacity to learn is one of the greatest gifts a living soul can have and that it should be used to its fullest.
The last time I attempted to move something with my mind, the results were, to my dismay, inconclusive. Stupid laws of physics. Thanks for nothing, Mr. Newton—except those yummy fruit-bars.
I'm a fairly sane, single Gen-X boy. I know—so few of us around. I enjoy being creative in most arenas of life. I'm successful at it about 60% of the time. Most other stuff I do, in life, is aimed at reconciling that remaining 40%. Doesn't always work. I'll keep at it, though. I kind-of have to. I've already got lots of time invested in the process... My name is Xavier. I am 16 years old. I love music(Jazz, Rap, and Soul), and Eastern Philosophy. I don’t follow and religion or philosophy, but i take ideas from a lot of them and try to piece together the puzzle of life and consciousness. My favorite philosopher is Alan Watts, I could listen to his lectures for the rest of my life.
I am a firefighter/ EMT and paramedic student in northern NJ. I am married, no children yet, with an adorable dog. I consider myself spiratual, though I don't go to church. I was raised Christian, my wife was raised Jewish, though her father is Catholic. We celebrate the holidays both faiths in our house. I love playing guitar and am a Redsox, NY Giants and NJ Devils fan. I'm kinda tough to define- I tend to vote right, but am pro union; I am a memebr of both the NRA and PETA. I like punk and classic rock, but there are plenty exceptions.
