I have an amazing, gorgeous, intelligent, compassionate girlfriend with a beautiful heart.

I enjoy peanut butter, soccer, science, web design, Scarlett Johansson and kung-fu movies.

I (was) a functional illiterate so to change this I move to France to teach English.

I am just a regular kind of chica, lucky to have a husband I love; a son who is a rad little dude, an absolute joy; a wonderful family and a best friend who is like a sister. I am a stay at home mom who is trying to keep hold of herself and her sanity while raising a good, kind and free spirited little man-child. He's left his babyhood behind and I wish I could freeze him at this age. I may not have much in hand, but overflowing in spirit.

I use this website to learn and to ponder questions that might not occur to me otherwise. I enjoy reading, hiking, baking, music, and being alive. I am also an extreme Star Wars nerd and enjoy science fiction in general.

I am happily married and a proud mother of a two year old boy. Now that I'm rediscovering myself in this new manifestation called Mama, I don't have as much time for soulpancake flipping as I used to have, but I still like stopping by for a syrupy plateful on occasion.
