I don't know what I dream about most of the time, because I usually don't remember. But there are always a few that I recall and I wonder why those in particular. Some seem to be nonsense, about people I don't know; others I can relate to things I want or situations that I've experienced in waking life. I've started writing down what I do remember, to see if it reveals any meaningful patterns or clues that can help guide me along my path.

For about a year I've been having pregnancy related dreams. Just a few nights ago I dreamed that the skin and organs in my abdomen were translucent and I could see a healthy couple-month-old fetus. No, there is no way I could be pregnant so I'm not worried about that. I think I've been dreaming about pregnancy because I really want to be a mom one day and as I enter my mid-20s, finding someone to accomplish that with is becoming a concern. Hehe.

One thing that's been consistent is the architecture and location. It never makes sense. The other night I dreamed I was working in a convenience store that was located in some sick trailer house. I've gone to school in a friends garage. It's funny how it doesn't seem out of place at the time.

mostly scary dreams but lately i've been having dreams and the nxt day the same exact thing happens i sware!!! anyone know wat thatz calledd??? it freaks me out !!!

The things I dream about are generally very intricate, hazy blend of places I've been or seen, and the people I dream about are generally people I've never met. My last dream was set in Australia, which I've never set foot on. I was in the savannah/prairie/whatever and I met a baby kangaroo. :) I kneeled down to hug him and then he kissed me, but then he started gnawing on my cheek and wouldn't let go. It was sort of awful. :(

Lately, I've been dreaming about David Lynch and work. There are dark rooms and dark stairwells, and sometimes there's cake.

I dream about everyday things that shouldn't be as fantastical as they are in my dreams. Lately, I've been writing full length musicals worth a Tony or two in my dreams. But of course, I never remember specifically what the song was.

The end of the world, or strange encounters with people. I used to have this recurring dream that my brother and I would be in the car, my mom parked and gone into somewhere like the store or a friend's place, and I would start driving - we would get tiny, like insects, and get crushed by ants. :)
