This restored my faith in humanity, not that it was shaken. It's a picture of volunteers down on the Jersey Coast, helping people who have had their homes destroyed.

Every time I look at these and read this article, I tear up. There is something to be said about keeping such positive stories circulating in our world. Just a reminder that there is good out there and we should all be more proactive about sharing it...

I loved it, all the pictures/stories, but the one above - knowing she pushed the racer across the finish line and took last place for herself - had me on my feet cheering.

I couldn't agree less with "SocratesInTheCave", because we can't prioritize kindness, we can only hope to embody it and extend it - and - some people are inspired to do so by pictures of humans-helping-humans while others are inspired by humans-helping-animals or animals-helping-humans or animals-helping-animals. There's plenty of room in the World for kindness.

I think there were wayyy to many photos of people helping animals, specifically kittens. Don't get me wrong, I like a kitty- rescue as much as anyone else, by I'd prefer to see more photos of people helping HUMANS on need, since that's a little more important than " kittens in danger." ...

This week it snowed here , so I got to go sledging with my youngest daughter :0) great time , knees were killing me the next day haha but it was worth it .
