When I look up in the night ski and ponder the vastness. I'm humbled in a way that no other experience has been able to do. For me, it is incomprehensible!

It's really mind blowing when you realize the sheer BIGness of this universe...and then consider how big a deal we insignificant beings make of ourselves on a daily basis when there's so much more out there...

I think about what Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson said in a lecture. Thinking about the enormity of the universe made him feel him feel small. But thinking about being a PART of the universe made him feel big at the same time.
Sometimes I look at the night sky when there's a full or nearly - full Moon & other celestial bodies overhead, & I feel something of a sense of connection to the planets, the stars - & the molecules & atoms that make up everything.
