In another life I would...

Im not talking about reincarnation or anything like that, just that if for some weird reason you got to follow a completely different life than the one you have right now, what would that be?

For me, I'm always imagining what it would have been like if I had pursued music instead of sciences, would it be nice, idk, maybe in a different life...

I always wanted to be a criminal. Be a completely selfish human-being and not care about the consequences of my actions. Maybe even meet a small town girl, get involved with a bunch of gang activity like robbing banks and maybe doing hits on people if they needed us too. Specifically, an Asian gang so she can ride on the back of my motorcycle while the police are chasing us.

What's stopping you from pursuing those things now?

Are any of you dead?

Other than Chantarella and mr little down there dealing with unchangeable past events, Why do you guys think you can't do these things now?

I for one try not to think about my past, those events are set, I am me now and I would not change that or I would be dead.

As for future me? who needs another life when I have this one?

In another life, I would have become an artist - a sculptor, a painter, etc - whatever things I could do best. I have artistic inclinations, but annoying stuff like my job and other responsibilities keep getting in the way.

Sounds like a perfect invite to a hobby, or something to look forward to in retirement.

The whole "road not traveled" exercise can be like imagination junk food: fun for a while and it can give you a good sugar-buzz. But it wears off and you're no better for having partaken.

So turn it into something positive and beneficial!

Sadly- their influences began too early and were too strong for me to do so. So I woke up too late. Things are Ok now- but I would have lead a different life for sure.

I have always thought that I was born in the wrong country. The grass IS always greener on the other side, but I think if I had another life-path, I would have been born Scottish and raised sheep in the Highlands. It seems serene to me and I feel that hard work is rewarding. Following soccer/football teams would be easier as well.
