i love his movies! i was pretty much raised on "my neighbour totorro," and have been a fan since i was really little!

I love all of his movies! Kiki's Delivery Service is the 1st film I saw of his. Definetely my favorite. Spirited Away and The Castle of Cagliostro are also one of a kind.

Hayao Miyazaki is a true artist. Through his beautiful movies he expresses reverence for the natural world, and with his intrepid, adventurous heroines, expresses a deep belief in the strength of women. My Neighbor Totoro has been a favorite since I was a little girl!

Mr. Miyazaki is a genius. his works "Spirited Away", "Mononoke Hime", to name just two of them, are real art. i can't say that about a lot of movies, but his definitely are. and he produced a lot of great movies for kids too, and to be honest, i wouldn't mind my kids growing up with those as well. they teach important lessons about life too. @Jennifer i don't know the movie "Nausica". but since you recommend it so strongly i'll do my best to get it.

It's definitely LOVE! Spirited Away, Nausica, Princess Mononoke... My favorite scene is in Nausica when she realizes the trees are transforming pollution. Such great heroines in his work.
