Why does milk taste so good with chocolate?

I just at a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with Caramel, which was delicious!, and I now need a huge glass of milk...does this happen to everyone? if yes, why?

Milk is the perfect non-alcoholic beverage for chocolate. Like pizza and beer, or white wine and pasta... the textures, the richness, the flavors... they just go perfectly togeather and milk is, in my opinion, one of the greatest beverages to begin with and then you add chocolate and whoa... two good things put togeather to make the ultimate combo of all times and then to add peanutbutter and caramel... wowzers... this is making me hungry.

I don't like to drink milk. I don't like the taste, the smell, the look, everything. But I do have to admit.. Oreos are best with milk, and since I really love Oreos I do occasionally have some milk with them. So, I guess I'd have to agree that some things are best with milk.

I love milk! Period. Chocolate and milk are a good combination, but milk in general is good anytime, anywhere.

No, I don't have one. I'm on the route from vegetarian to vegan, so I haven't purchased a new half-gallon recently.

I don't like to drink milk. I don't like the taste, the smell, the look, everything. But I do have to admit.. Oreos are best with milk, and since I really love Oreos I do occasionally have some milk with them. So, I guess I'd have to agree that some things are best with milk.
