Is having a "friend with benefits" bad?

I have had friends with benefits in the past and I have always had fun and had a good time. What is wrong with just finding a girl and having fun? It is not like either side is being taking advantage of and both can end it at any time so what's the problem?

There is nothing wrong about that. The only danger I see would be that very often there is one of the two that is more into it than the other. As long as it's equal, respectful and "safe", it's totally cool, I think.

So long as everything is open and honest, I dig friends with benefits. Bad is too subjective, and frankly, unless a victim can be identified, the idea of "bad" feels silly.
