i'm not confident, but i don't hide it or pretend to be better than i am to compensate, and it generally works out. i have a big handful of good friends and that's all i need to stay afloat :]

My confidence is odd. I love myself but i dont think others will. I was kind of thinking of this just the other day when I was younger I had no self confidence at all, now im half jokingly full of myself. maybe it comes with age,Im at a point in my life where i no longer care what others think, only what God and I think.

Sometimes. There's still a lot of room for improvement. But it's less bad than in the past :D

I am in weird ways. I have no problem speaking in front of larger, nameless crowds, but I struggle to speak up in a smaller group setting.

No, not at this point in my life. I can fake confidence though, pretty convincingly.

I think confidence is something we develop when we learn to like our shortcomings. I don't think I've gotten quite far enough yet.

Most of the time- no. I stress out over EVERYTHING. People roll their eyes at me or laugh at me because I'm always so worried about failing, getting rejected, or coming off in a bad manner. In the end, I've never been rejected, and I do excel (on tests, on essays, in interviews, etc) most of the time. I understand that I probably don't need to worry about every little thing, but I just can't help it. Then I worry that it's my worrying that brings me success!

I used to be a peer attorney for convicted minors. I often didn't get my case until the day of the court date, so there wasn't much time to prepare my argument. I found that when I got my case early and had time to gain the confidence that I knew it inside-out, I actually gave much less insightful arguments than I did when I nervously improvised!
Of course, I am confident sometimes. But for me, my lack of confidence is often what drives my successes. I'm content with being a transient between confidence and hesitance.
Are you confident?

Depends if you confide in yourself. How can one be confident if they don't confide in themselves?

Sometimes, and sometimes not, lol. Or to say it otherwise: I know how complete confidence feels like, but I also know how the complete lack of confidence feels like. Trust me, the former feels better, but I had the latter much more. I think that somewhere in the middle is the ideal. Too much confidence has its dangers, I think you can easily become an arrogant as*hole or do foolish stuff. On the other hand, too little confidence is like walking through life while pulling heavy weights behind you. It can prevent you from living life to the fullest and becoming your best self. I hope that I will someday reach the middle: a healthy, balanced, realistic, confidence

Yes, I typically do whatever I set my mind to. I think a little confidence is needed.

Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not. It depends on the circumstances. I don't think there are many people who are ALWAYS confident, with the possible exception of psychopaths. Self-doubt is a self-preservation behavior that keeps people from taking foolish risks. (Though sometimes people have so much self-doubt that they never do anything)

No. As soon as someone questions me, even if I was certain before, I will lose all confidence and say that they were probably right. And they usually end up being wrong.

Noticing areas to improve and improving them is the process of life.
