http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2012/07/31/158932/commentary... Truth is, there are few things more fully bipartisan than ducking a question. The art of making sound while saying nothing has become so ordinary and ubiquitous a part of politics as to defy notice, like wallpaper.

How about streaming the debates the next day with inserts grading each response on pertinence to the question asked and offering links to expose their probable falsehoods? If someone did that I would wait until then to watch them.

You can be assured that a politician will lie to you every time. You know their lying, their lips are moving. Double speak is all they know how to do.

It would be nice, I think, but I find politicians especially the absolute kings and queens of "double speak". and actually, I think most of the media it self is pretty biased, and that's why those folks are allowed to get away with that.
I was a judge for a couple of years for UIL debates..high schoolers..had any of them done that kind of thing..they would have been immediately disqualified. those "political' debates
are IMHO, not "debates" they are just grandstanding.
we have a current mudslinging contest going on here between a Ted Cruz and David Dewherst. They are in a run off for the GOP. personally I wouldn't vote for either of them, particualarly based on the disinformation in thier commercials..and the fact that thier commercials, at least to me don't even make any sense. which I think is the name of the game..smoke and mirrors.
