It would be no different. Christianity is so much less about a set of moral commands and more about the call to restoration of our relationship with God by way of our big bro' Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross and resurrection to life. I think the fact that the Sermon on the Mount is only fully (see partial in Luke 6 starting in verse 20) seen in Matthew is hardly of any concern. Plus, to be completely honest the root of all his teachings, that being love for God and one's neighbor, is littered through Scripture, starting in Deuteronomy.

Good thought! May I ask why you think only these gospels are inspired by God? 2 Timothy says that the entire book is God-breathed - inspired.
