I do see the writing on the wall, and it doesn't look so good. However, I don't think there's a whole lot I can do about it. Like the scholar elite in late Ming China, this is a time for withdrawal from the affairs of the world.

Ancient Egyptians used to write on the walls. Now we have paper and the Internet. If there is writing on a modern wall, it is most likely some form of advertising, so I do my best to ignore it.
