My life and sleeping routine have no pattern. It's complete and utter chaos and its taking its physical toll on me.

Wake up at 6:45, coffee, water plants, gym, volunteer until late afternoon.
My less productive mornings might consist of sleeping in until 10am and then the whole day's just shot from there.

I wake up and, before I get out of bed, look outdoors to the garden and see which flowers are in bloom. Then I kiss my bed buddy (human or fur), I get out of bed and do some gentle stretching right next to the bed. I feed whoever's up, in Summer go outside to do some light gardening or yoga, and I really like to breakfast with the birds. I might bring some inspirational reading with me (non-religious in my case) but more often lately I prefer to just listen to nature waking up. I'm never sure if the birds are chattering because they're greeting the sun or are afraid of it. I try to keep technology away from me for at least the first 2 hours after I wake, also the 2 hours before I go to bed, just to get some extra peace in my day.

If at home, Emery calls me and I listen to him make coffee while I make coffee here. I listen to him give the dogs their munchy bones and each of the cats get treats. We talk and wake up together on the phone before he makes his lunch and dresses to go to work.

If I am there with Emery, I get out of bed, make coffee, give the dogs their munchy bones, and each cat gets a pile of treats. Then I pour Emery his coffee and my coffee. I take him his coffee and we hug ourselves awake over coffee and conversation. Then he fixes his lunch, dresses for work, and leaves for work. I watch Grey's Anatomy before starting my day of cooking and cleaning, after shopping. All so that when he gets home, the house is clean and there is dinner cooking. Home should be welcoming.

Let the dogs out, feed the animals and give them fresh water. Make myself hot mug of coffee and answer emails while listening to CNN news.

i've been trying to get in the habit of grabbing a glass of water...grabbing and practicing an instrument for a bit....and then eating breakfast...it's not been working out this week.

On a weekday, I get up about three hours before I need to be at university so I slowly wake up and start my day calm.
