I have learned how to manifest what I consciously want as my reality. I see signs of impending manifestation all the time.

Our rationalizing minds are more than capable of manufacturing signs for practically anything and everything.
But I'm not sure if this process that comes from within and is entirely "of the self" . . . totally negates that there could be signs coming from the Universe.
The inward process is certainly capable of manufacturing strings of signs for a path leading to a desired destination. But how much luck have you had maintaining this illusion? Sooner or later there's no more signs (or they're all bad) and everything starts going for a sh*t.
Yet there do seem to be paths out there that generate no shortage of signs that one is on a good path: and the persistence of their generation comes to a point where one can no longer hold to the fantasy that you are somehow creating all of these things just as a function of your desires and will.
(And personally I've found that this singular act of hubris is often enough to spin one's path off to the side just enough that the signs (or open doors if you prefer) stop coming. And as soon as I've reigned in the hubris, the doors start opening again.)

Speed Limit signs
Route signs
Merging traffic signs
and so on
Life is much the same way.

Signs come from the city you live in. They put them up to control traffic and to let you know what street you are on, or if there is a detour or dip in the road. I do believe in signs.

sometimes it just says "dip in the road"....and it's usually a "sign" that I haven't been paying attention. ;-)

Sometimes I see a sign and just know it is something I have to pay attention to, it can be like a flashing neon sign over my head, or just a plani old image ...

Normally these say things to me like, STOP
Or THINK!
And sometimes, "GIve way to traffic from the right"

It comes from my heart ..forms into thought..then I can act or not on the thought..some times the thoughts come from others, for others and they do not hear, so I echo the wave...generally for those dead already not knowing it..For they are ghost in another dimension,living on a repeat cycle here in the flesh...

Signs do not open my eyes..they warn and direct by law...I am beyond time&space all the time behind it too...I would really love to be, just here and now..but my mind is on high waves and speeding as I wonder at the beauty of Earth..
