Answer me this feminists:

If women get paid less (77 cents on the dollar) for exactly the same quality of work, why do corporations even hire men? I mean all they care about is profits, right, they outsource to China to save pennies, so why wouldn't they avoid hiring men and hire only women to save money?

They probably hire men because they think they are more business savvy and then keep the women around because they can also get the job done, but for them there're just eye candy. Either way it's dumb.

That figure is a bit misleading. But lets take it at face value-that all women working the exact same job as men with the same experience get paid 77 cents less on the dollar. Even with that it is still more cost effective to send jobs overseas, becaue you woud still pay them less than you would an all woman workforce earning 77 cents less per dollar.

Why do they pay the women less in the first place? That's probably the only reason they hire some of them anyway. They think Men are probably more deserving of higher pay and can be utilized better. To answer all your questions, it's because they're sexist, not misogynists, sexists.

In reply to your question, having been a woman in the workplace at a time when men weren't afraid to say out loud what they were thinking about women in the workplace, and having been the wife of a man who was in corporate management, I can give you the short answer: Men don't have babies. Even though men and women now share much of the responsibilities of child-rearing, women still end up carrying more of it. So when a child is ill, the woman will stay home with it or go to the doctor. She also takes off time for other events in the children's life more often. Also, women take time off for having the babies. My husband hated having women with children working under him. He discriminated against them time and time again. This issue of child-bearing and child-care represents a lot of extra cost.

Because people tend to notice these things. That is why there is legislation and stuff. Poor argument you have here.

I saw a woman who was working alongside the men as an electrician. When there was cable and wiring packs to carry, each man carried a full pack. The woman split a pack open and could only carry one-third of the wire load at a time. The men carried three times the amount and they were pissed off when her paycheck was nearly the same as theirs.

Women are becoming the household breadwinners and I see more and more men out of work and taking the kids to school and staying home to be Mr. Mom. The men are starting home businesses and service-maintenance jobs for themselves.

In fact employment of women /is/ increasing as employment of men /is/ decreasing. As organizations are looking to let go of employees, they are selecting amongst relatively equal quality labor and letting go the more expensive labor. This has been one of the consequences of the recession. I won't bother cite this, as a simple google search will show a plethora of researched articles on the subject.
