One should try not too. The best decisions are made because they are what is best for everyone. Someone shouldn't make a decisions because they are afraid, but rather because they have the best probable outcome. Besides, fear clouds the heart's judgement. It's hard to be great when you're afraid to do what it takes to be good.

Yep. I think everyone does at least part of the time. I blame it on being a primate, for the most part. It's true, and it sounds way better than "sometimes, I'm a coward."

I think it's more like, I don't make decisions because of fear. At least that's how it use to be for me at one point.

I think our Human default is to make our decisions based on either greed or fear.

I think our Human default is to make our decisions based on either greed or fear.
The ONLY cure to this I've found is to start making them based on love and trust.
The love, is a love for others that is willing to overshadow just a love for ourselves.
And the trust is a trust in God, the Universe, Karma, whatever one wants to call it: a trust that come what may there will be abundant silver linings and glasses half-full and that with the right attitude you will be able to make refreshing lemonade from whatever lemons might try to smoke you upside the head.

yes - even decisions based on excitement revolve around a fear of missing out on something great. i don't know if i've ever experienced a pure decision-making process. but that's the fun of it all, right? :)

Yeah, usually. How can you not? Even weighing the pros and cons of doing it is still like fearing the consequences of the bad and so doing the one that has the best outcomes

Everyone will depending on the situation. Denying only makes it worse, your only chance is to grasp that you are being irrational due to fear and then try to turn it around. Or not, perhaps the fear was justified.
