Who can anyone trust to censor what we see and hear? Who would we nominate to view all the porn, books and music in order to absolve us of the responsibility of deciding for ourselves what is appropriate? If these things have the capacity to debauch and corrupt, would't the censor be the most debauched and corrupt person of all?

Things like this really piss me off! This is just another case of trying to legislate morality and in the process forcing censorship which inhibits freedom of speech and expression. I don't care for Lady Ga Ga either but to McGuiness' point, I can think for myself and no one is forcing me to be a consumer of her music. Popular media and entertainers are not responsible for raising our children we as parents have a responsibility upon conception to grow up, learn to think for ourselves and parent our children the way we see fit. The roll of censorship belongs to the parents not to our governing bodies.
