I use your philosophy too. Also, I my philosophy is "Always smile because there are always people who are living much harder lives than mine" Also, I look to the bright side of every single thing in my life. You can see the bright side in whatever problem you get if you think well about it.

Everyone was born a blank slate. Their environment, the people around them, family, major events and so on all made an imprint upon them, but no person is inherently bad, and nothing is one's fault.
Conscious evolution, the love of human potential, the wind off the sea.

I have a few maxims, but my philosophy would not fit in a book, not to mention a reply on this site. I wouldn't want to pick one and say, "this is me, in a nutshell." Because I can't be summarized that easily. I dislike oversimplification.
