I don't think anything is taboo besides hurting someone or something verbally. In order to come to our senses and be honest with ourselves as humans, we must not be restrained from expressing ourselves.

in society, think nothing should be. honesty is the only way to real progress and understanding. personally, detailed discussions about sex make me feel, we'll say "yucky."

I'm not fond of the concept of taboo - as an agnostic humanist, my concept of morality and taboos is that if whatever you're doing is not harming anybody or causing undue harm to any conscious creature, and you are not doing something self destructive (suicide, drugs, etc.), any you possess the mental health capabilities to understand your actions, do whatever you want.

Hurting, physically or verbally, people or animals not threatening to hurt you. Trying to determine someone's social status before deciding how to and whether to talk to them.

Religion in mixed company. I think people should talk about religion in discussion circles devoted to its discussion. Not an atheist I just get sick of hearing about someone's attachment to a big daddy in the sky.
