Hopefully it will. Everybody needs to learn to be a little more chill these days. It's the first step.

I'm not a big fan of physical contact, I enjoy my bubble plus my hands are weak, boney and usually sweaty. The fist bump is also very anti-formal which I'm strongly for, shorts and sandals are as dressed up as I want for any event. That's how I always greet my friends so I'm okay with it.

Next chance you get to go into a public restroom and just watch how many people walk out without washing their hands; you touch the door handle on the bathroom door, stall or zipper, toilet seat or urinal plunger and you want to touch my pristine hands, NO!

only if the exploding gesture can be tied into the end of it...though a good strong handshake never hurt anyone...cept someone with frail fingers...

I hope so. My hands get sweaty when I'm nervous, this could f*ck up job interviews if my hand shake is slippery.

I rather hope not. I dig handshakes. There's a warmth in the embrace of a handshake that I don't get from a fist bump. The bump inspires a certain feeling of solidarity for me, but it's just not the same as a standard, old-fashioned shake.
