Honestly, sometimes, yes. Especially if someone has opposite political views of mine, then I might tune them out.

.even when there are ants in my pants..I hold patience, for I truly want to hear others opinions..they are just as valuable as mine.. and show me the different views..I have had some good views and have seen better than the ones I had too.

Depending on the importance of what said person is saying. I tend to disregard things that come from people who have wronged me in the past. However, if they are speaking on their field of expertise I'll take in what they are saying. Also, I'm with flash on the fast talkers. I know I shoo off what they say as scam or incorrect. I've worked with a lot of fast talkin sales people in my time and I think I just tune out at this point as an auto reaction. But it all comes down to my bs meter. If I feel like you don't know what you're talking about, I'll go get a second or third or fourth opinion on the subject.
