This is one of my all time favorite songs, I love it because it's incredibly eerie yet beautiful. Anywho! I thought I'd share it with anyone that hasn't heard it. Enjoy! (:

Yep. I remember Ricky. (I'm that old.)

Just goes to show you that broken hearts are not a new invention. People have had broken hearts for as long as we have been on this planet.

When this song came out in 1958, I was saying good-bye to the 16 year old boy who would one day be my husband (Lowell Henry). I was only 10 but I was in love and sad that Lowell joined the Navy. I used to cry broken hearted to this song. I loved my sailor boy for 50 years.
