Let's talk simple things: puppies are cute.

I'm not a very warm and fuzzy person. In general, I try to exercise my brain constantly.But it's finals week. So I've taken to Googling puppies on my study breaks.

What warms your heart? What simple things pause your brain and quiet your worries?

Puppies are adorable and just the smile they bring to my face melts tension. I like kittens too. But I love the Decorah Eagles. They are on my laptop all day and I can turn from my work laptop to my personal laptop any time, watch them for a few moments, smile and keep working. the early morning quiet, fresh baked goods in the morning, flowers, spending time in nature, sitting in my church in between services when no one is around, children playing, a walk along the shore, and rainfall...a storm actually, but not too strong...I like rainfall with thunder and lightning at a distance.

I ended up buying the puppies! ( I have 2 chihuahuas- forever puppies because they are so small)
