I like that in looking for some sort of answer to my own inner stirrings of dissatisfaction, I saw your post. The quote, to me, says "you have the answer within you and the mental power to cause positive change". I like that it reminds me or any reader that change is something we have to take responsibility for. Which in turn is empowering.

I'm not so sure. I think sometimes with the popularity of books like The Secret there can be this emphasis on thinking one needs to have certain kinds of thoughts to have the life one wants. Yet, I think we can make choices in life which are tied to what we value, what's important to us, regardless of what thoughts we are having. Sometimes thoughts say they're more important then they are.

I think this is true. One must work equally as hard (if not harder) to fashion the way they think as they must to fashion the world.

Similarly it is very hard to go off a beaten track in the mind when that track is something like comfort eating... Or thinking that all those comforting fairy tales or nasty threats of godly judgement are true...
