When you begin to love, as a practice, as a way of being in the world...when you become a loving person in deed and action...the word love and it's usages/meanings will take care of itself. Love as used in speech and writing will become so clear to you that it will need no explanation.

Humans seem not to understand love..There is only "One love"..not different kinds,those are only threads in what love entails..

I don't use it unless I mean it, but there are so many kinds of love and shades of love. Of course there is love of family and children. I might say, "I love you." to some on this forum and it means, moreover, that I enjoy you. "I love you, Johnny, oh Johnny." means "You are such a sweet curmudgeonous Native American sweetie and I could just pinch your little cheeks."

"I love you" is said a lot in my circle of friends. It comes with hellos and good-byes. You never know if something will happen and you end up never seeing that person again. This habit made me say "I love you." to my man prematurely before we were ready for that. I was afraid that saying those words too soon would make him run away like his butt was on fire ---- but then, it didn't, and it opened the door to the love we share today. Love connects two people in a bond. It is a partnership composed of two individuals who bring each other happiness and accommodation of needs and desires. Together, we can accomplish anything because of our love.
