I love my name. Darcie. It is absolutely mine. I actually get a little annoyed when someone else has my name. It's not so bad if they spell it differently. But then I just say they're spelling it "wrong". :)

I like my name now (Kai), but when I was younger it was problematic for me. I was dorky as it was, so having an off beat name didn't make matters easier. Now I appreciate my name and I have spoken with a lot of friends/family and it's unanimous that me and my name are one. I won't change it

Funny story - I was named after my grandmother. When i was 16 she passed away and when we were gathering her papers, birth certificate, will, and so forth and found on her birth certificate her birth name of Edith Elouise....a[[arently when she was five or so, she decided she did not like her name and made people call her something else (in the 20's no one really care I guess) ---- so I was named after my grandmother who's name was not Julie.....but I prefer it to Edith!!!!

Seeing as though I have one of the most common names on earth, sometimes I think about what it would be like to have a name that's a little more unique. That aside, I definitely would never change it. I think I would just give my kids some unique names when and if I ever have any.

Funny I use one name for work and another for the rest of the world. The rest of the world has known me by my middle name. At work, when I was first introduced to everyone I was it was by my first name - and there it stuck- far too long now to undo it. I like using two names - I know when someone calls me by my middle name that I am def. off work. I like my name all of them LOL

I like my name, Tracy, mainly because there's not that many of us, despite it not being an unusual name. I've met probably less than a dozen Tracys in my life. The name peaked in the 70s and then fell off the popularity list. I really love my middle name, Hope. Kudos to my mom for picking a cool middle name for me. One summer in my adolescent years, I briefly tried to get people to call me Tish - maybe a yearning to fit in with the preppy crowd. Thank god it was short lived.

My name (Brynne) is one of those things that's always been a curse and a blessing. I love that it's almost unique - I hate that when I go to the doctor's office I never know if they're calling me or not because they stumble over it. Brynne. BRIN. Not Brianna, not Bree, not Brian (help? I'm a girl!), not Brine. BRYNNE. When I was twelve I sat down and tried to think of something that would be cool to use instead. I couldn't think of anything. And now I like my name.

I think my name is ok. It's fairly common, but I love hearing it said aloud, like somone calling my name. It's a strange feeling, but sometimes I forget that my name is really my name....then I remember, "oh yeah, that's me." =] But, if I could change my name I think I would like Layla or Roxie. Maybe, but it's too late now, I'm already attached to the name I have!

I like my name, Jarrod, but what I don't like are all the mispronunciations. I get Ja-rod, Gerald, Jarard and the occasional Jeremy. I think my mom should have spelled it Jared and maybe that would have helped. I couldn't image having a different name now though...

My name is difficult. I know I would like it better if it wasn't mine. But I do think it suits me pretty well. If I could change my name, though...I don't know. I've always been partial to the name Olivia.

My name's alright. Not my favorite. Could be more unique. Wouldn't change it though because, like it or not, it's my name, sort of a part of me now. That's gotta mean something.

My name is Abrielle. I haven't met another one yet, so I love my name. Plus, it means "woman of God", which really reflects who I am.
