There's always this risk when one takes "what works" and tries to make it work better. The gremlins in the code take a long time to work out.

I've told tech support several times that replying to responses in what was formerly called "The Question Collective" is currently "hit or miss" in whether it will actually open a response window or not. (This morning, again, I find I cannot open a "reply" widow to a response in the Question Collective . . . so I cannot participate)
Now whether that is a function of their code or my computer doesn't really seem to matter. What matters, is that both parties "suffer loss" (my being unable to interact . . . on a site that depends upon interaction).
And this because of a change I really had nothing to do with. They can say it's my browser and I can say it's their code . . . but the end result is a loss of interaction.
Don't get me wrong. I truly appreciate all the hard work the SP team has gone to in bringing this wonderful site to life. And yes, this represents yet another spate of "growing pains" for both sides.
I would only ask the SP team to contemplate the wisdom of being content with something that does 90% of what you ask of it . . . over always wanting that extra 10% and in the process rendering the site less useful than it was!

You say that Soul Pancake is incompatible with Internet Explorer, as if this is some sort of flaw with Soul Pancake.

The truth is that Internet Explorer is incompatible with the internet and with computers. It fails to comply with MANY universally accepted standards.
Maybe try using software that's NOT broken and retarded, and you'll have less problems.
As for Soul Pancake support - I've had some communication with them recently. They responded promptly, cheerfully promised to attend to my request, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing.

I've never had to use their Tech Support, therefore, no opinion about it / them. I tried Firefox / Mozilla. It worked great for a while, then it slowed down, sputtered, & stopped dead on my computer so I'm back to using IE ( Version 9 ) which is as fast as watching fossil formation. That's progress.

Yes, it seemed to have gone very quiet around here - glad you're back, I did try emailing tech support but only once and never got a reply. I'm using Safari or Chrome but Safari (slower) shows me the edit/flag/delete buttons while Chrome (faster) doesn't.
