I am, because I am trying to become a radical therapist. I know the basics through reading and listening about psychology and spirituality. My training consists of listening and learning from everyone I come across. The school of life is making me understand that it's all about achieving friendship through compassion, justice, and loyalty.

Happiness is a drug fix. Are you submitting to your favourite drug fix? Why not?

"Happiness" exists outside of you. It's something you "do". (or that "does" you?) It's a crutch. And if it breaks or cannot be found or doesn't turn out like you had hoped, you're left wanting. Even if you get it for a season, it can leave as suddenly as it comes . . . leaving you hoping for bigger and bigger doses of it to achieve the same temporary "high".
Joy is the internal variant that comes from within you and doesn't depend upon outside fixes. It's what you "are" and choose to be.
