13. O SON OF SPIRIT! I created thee rich, why dost thou bring thyself down to poverty? Noble I made thee, wherewith dost thou abase thyself? Out of the essence of knowledge I gave thee being, why seekest thou enlightenment from anyone beside Me? Out of the clay of love I molded thee, how dost thou busy thyself with another? Turn thy sight unto thyself, that thou mayest find Me standing within thee, mighty, powerful and self-subsisting. We are noble. We bring ourselves down.

We all start the same way - as babies. And when I look at a baby for just a moment, I don't see any possible way that a person could be inherently bad.

I think people are born neither good or bad, a methaphorical cross roads. Which path you take is up to you and turning back is always an option.

i think everything is grey - never as simple as people being good or bad, we're all both. and often we do bad things for good reasons and vice versa. i would recommend TVs "THE WIRE" for a fantastic insight into this....

I think humans are born neither good nor bad but with the potential for great amounts of either or both.

I think humankind is intrinsically good but we all carry the capability of evil. I don't believe any person deliberately sets out to be evil. They make choices which lead then to evil, but these choices are based on the same needs we all have--love, belonging, security, mastery.
