Finding peace and rest when you are alone is a like a gift just to you. Even one person can change/diminish/distract from your unwrapping it for yourself.
Finding peace and rest as you walk joyfully through the frantic rat-race we currently call life, is like a gift to everyone. But it is a gift you leave for each person to unwrap or overlook, as they wish it. And a multitude all unwrapping it at the same time would in no way diminish the blessing.
Time of rest and peace alone are important. Many of our greatest leaders/visionaries have extolled them AND partaken of them.
But this personal gift is perhaps destined to die shortly after its birth unless it is allowed to walk out into a world in desperate need of this child of peace and rest.

I prefer to find my peace through activity. Not the kind of activity that requires significant concentration. The kind that can be done on autopilot (like walking) but adding the focus of concentrated observation.
The centre point seems easier to be in when I am in that mode.

This, is a warning to the simple minded, that simplicity is not sparsity.
