Definitely shouldn't be illegal. Opinion still has no place in law.

The thing that bugs me about pornography is what it promotes. It isn't the sexuality that bugs me, it is the dominance/submission, chauvinism, and mistreatment of women.
Male teens who are introduced to sex through porn may well believe girls like surprise anal, choking, or insulting them (or worse). Likewise, women might think that's what guys want and say they want it to.
In real life, it's probably a small portion of the population that actually does want to be abused.
'Turn Ons' aren't genetic. (Probably closer to neurosis).

No children. No undue amounts of pain. No forcing anybody to do anything. No problem.

PS. No body telling me what to buy or not buy would also not be a problem.

Pornography is for sick and obsessed people. People whacking and rubbing in mono is a HUGE problem that must be stopped for the person's own good. Sex should be conducted in the missionary position for procreation only. Birth control is wrong. Pornography clearly leads to violence against women.

These are all commonly espoused positions from the religiously insane in 2012.

No, obviously not, unless it is depicting children or others who are not consenting (both to having sex and to being filmed).

It's just when it becomes an addiction that it's a problem. Anything that you are addicted to is a problem, though, so it shouldn't be treated any differently just because it is a more risque subject.
Besides, I'm sure @Kirbonicus would throw a hissy-fit otherwise, and you don't want to see that b*****d when he's high and porn-less.

But wouldn't Santorum's name qualify as pornographic? Maybe this is a good reason to outlaw pornography.

legislating morality is always a slippery slope, it's never black and white (which is one among many reasons why abortion should be legal). When does nude art become "pornography"? The nude human body is the most beautiful thing in the world and it should be exhibited to maximize the world of aesthetics.
