I'm very spontaneous as an impulse buyer. Then at the end of the month I usually have $ 5.00 cash on hand. I don't plan ahead.

I think so. If someone told me to get on a plane tomorrow and join them on vacation, I would do it. But at the same time, I'm kind of a planner in the aspect of my schedule. Since I'm so busy, I usually have my day planned out so for the little aspects of life, I am more organized. But in larger ways, I love spontaneity.

Daw, I wish :/ I have to many "excuses" to be spontaneous but deep inside, I'm an adventurer! :D

I know I'm spontaneous on account of one time I got too close to the wood burner and started to burn all up. Thank goodness I remembered my "run and scream" procedure taught me by the visiting fire department when I was a kid or I'd be burned all up toast right now.

I work with my subconscious and am generally extremely spontaneous, rarely thinking out anything, but trusting in nature. I do think out many things, but I mean in terms of "how to act" or "what to say". Plan wise I typically get some kind of cue "this is what will happen", or "you have these choices, which one", I pick one, then forget about it and move forward -- like picking a road, more then "planning". Picking a road at a fork in the road.

Like driving, on the road I don't pay attention to the little details about getting there, that is done by the road, but I do drive well. Very well. And safe.

If you think and drive at the same time, you can get into accidents.

"Why are human habituals"... I think that is a good question, but entirely different. Maybe it is the same if you think of our habits like the functioning of the car we drive. Sometimes we drive different cars.

Only intellectually now, for the most part. I used to be "Ms. Spontaneity", but my body rebels now. I need at least and hour in which to respond physically to a, "Let's go to the store, etc." I used to be able to jump in the car and go to the beach, now, no.

I may think I'm spontaneous, but studies are showing that this is an illusion.
