My wonderful friends, my terrific husband, good health, a lovely place to live, enough (but not too much) money to live on and give a bit to causes I believe in, being a creative person, having family far away, reading novels, nonfiction and poetry, great movies, travel and getting all the fun I can out of life while it lasts - and it probably won't last too much longer, as I'm fairly old.

Ok sorry but this is like the dumbest question ever okay? The answer is: because otherwise you will be dead. You won't be living anymore. It's the most impractical thing to do!

FAMILY & FRIENDS. I am so blessed to have cultivated these amazing relationships. Some friends are now an extension of my family. I don't worry about money or possessions. Those physical things always seem to take care of themselves. My reason to live is love, essentially. I have always felt loved. My goals revolve around helping others and being creative in any situation I find myself in. Life is good. Even when I am sad I am aware of how completely blessed I am.

Also, I would like to backpack through Europe.
And also, bacon.

I don't really have answer for this question yet, I don't have a someone or a something that keeps me here, but I think not having a "reason" to be here is why I want to continue to live. Its the hope that someday I'll be able to say with confidence exactly why I'm here, the endless possibilities of what it could be is very exciting.

A few years ago, I lived for the achievement of goals. I would say to myself, "As soon as I do this or that, I am going to start living". After learning to appreciate everyday I live for the daily little glimpses of beauty, kindness, and humor. I lay in bed every night excited about tomorrow and thankful for the lessons of today. I live because I have things I want to learn and things I want to see. I am happy to be here--alive.

My daughter, she is in college and doing so well. I can't wait to see the adult woman she turns out to be. I also can't wait to see a woman be president of the united states.
