I'm pretty much against drug (I include alcohol too) use on the recreational level, but thats a personal thing. My tendancy is to look at it medically, since thats a big part of my background.

LSD was formulated and originally used by the CIA for a number of covert experiments (brainwashing, "truth syrum", etc..) but they stopped because it was inaffective. Most illegal drugs have at one time or another served a medical purpose- cocaine, opium and all its diriveteds, marijuana and even MDMA (extasy). LSD, however, has never served any medical purpose. So I think its a bad drug. Also, the side effects last longer than most, the drug never is fully metabolized and multiple usage can lead to permenant mental health issues (such as flashbacks). Coupled with the rare but possibly deadly "bad trips", looking at it as a risk vs gain POV, I'd sooner stick to other substances (even mushrooms are far safer than LSD. They are metabolized, leave the body, and less potent).
As a libertarian, I tend to be more pro-legalization (certainly with pot), but LSD never fits the mold. It just seems too unsafe for people who use it, and again, serves no known medical pupose.

I did a bunch in the late sixties and early seventies, but none since. Had two bad trips.

mmm... not sure what you want to hear, had some seriously good and bad trips.... most i ever took was fifty at once and i pissed on my friends chair (though i got drunk and stoned, too).

worst trip and weirdest was when i saw these weird cloaked figures throwing demons at me, after judging me... then saw myself in paradise in front of a gigantic tree with a guitar...

I have never taken or used drugs. I don't see what the interest is all about. I don't find any of it interesting in any way.

It's cool. Colors are awesome, everything sounds more deep. I've had bad trips though, I haven't took it in few years. I remember the last time I took it, Something really bad happened to me earlier that day and, what happened was on my mind. And later that night I took some and I had a really really, violent trip. I took a strap out and I was pointing it everywhere LOL.

My answer to you (you did after all ask a question), is to ask you a question (hopefully before the acid wears off), is WHO IS THIS "I" ASKING YOUR QUESTIONS?

I think it's for special. I think it's not for loud parties. I've learned or "realized" some things while on LSD that it may have taken me longer to figure out, otherwise. But this is not an inTOXICant to be taken lightly, or frequently. And it's not an inTOXICant to be taken before I have to work in eight hours.
