Even if that is a subjective concept... I guess a unifying definition could be anything that reflects divine attributes could be considered as beautiful... Nature is beautiful because we can sense God's love in it. Human kind can be the most beautiful thing of this Creation when reflecting those attributes... when not, it can be the ugliest thing ever...

Beauty is a label based upon a response. You know when you are attracted to something. That thing is beautiful. It is totally subjective. Some attraction can be taught or lead, but in most cases it just is. I think the idea of beauty is almost too large to really grasp in this way. Life is full of so many types of beauty that the word is really just a vague reference to a response. We infer the type of beauty when we see it in context. Land scape beauty is different than puppy beauty or pin up beauty or accomplishment beauty. Is it physical, spiritual or both. I also think it is composed of so many small elements that influence its impact. Tactile stimuli, mental stimuli and so on. I have met really gorgeous women who became hideous the longer I knew them. Their "beauty" never changed, just my perception of it.

I feel that beauty is an understanding that what you really are is totally in love with seeing itself everywhere.
