One is not destined to become what one thinks. If one's thoughts are conflicted, do one's actions begin to conflict? Does one undertake fewer and fewer actions?

It is possible to lie with one's thoughts; I believe we all do it quite frequently. Just because one has fucked up thoughts doesn't mean they're a fucked up person or believe what they think. Surely, both their deeds and their actions represent them; can one ever know all of both enough to fully know someone?
Thoughts are lies and revocable. Actions are quite difficult to undo; the permanence of action supersedes the impermanence of thought in the representation of the self.
Do not be too quick to deal out death and judgement. Some that live deserve death; some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them?

If they think they do, they do not understand their actions.

Our answer to this is clear. Here's an example:
I believe in peace, in love, in a warless world. But then I direct my armies to kill everyone in my neighboring country and keep my people in a state of fear.
Which matters more in that case - my thoughts, or my actions? It's clear that actions matter more.

Thinks. People aren't perfect. Allow room for mistakes when "doing". It doesn't mean that their heart or their intentions are bad just because of something that they do or don't do.

Then again people lie, but the question was phrased as "thinks" and not "says". Saying is actually doing something. No one can read minds, but wouldn't it be cool if we could.

I believe our thoughts are what define us. Our actions stem from those thoughts. I agree with 'learner' that to ourselves our thoughts are what matters, whereas our actions matter to others.

What you think affects what you do, but your actions are, in the end, what define you.
