William. . . I used to love him with every ounce of my being, now he makes me sick beyond belief. Even so much I don't delete him from my facebook, because every time I do he contacts me and what I want is or him NOT to contact me, & he would't stop bothering me until I caved in and open my doors up to him again, but now what I do is I open up a door to a false room where he thinks he's good in, when really he's just in the dog house chained to the fence. That way he just sits there and I live in peace happily forgetting his existence . . . for the most part

Good when I was depressed. He has some amazing songs that are really well composed, but his voice sounds like a dying cat being spun around in a pillow case. And I wish for once he would play some scales on his guitar.

Glee also. I don't think I'd like The Waltons any more. Times change. Glee doesn't.

Trying to impress people has become exhausting and irritating. I tend to think I sleep better now being unimpressive.

The color purple, no not the movie I mean the COLOR purple, my whole room was colored in different shades of it, I couldn't sleep for a while because of it, it didn't feel like home or even safe. Had to redecorate.
Sweets, I blame my mom for always baking cakes and letting me lick the spoon, and my neighbor for always giving me candy every time she saw me.
Linkin Park, I just don"t like them anymore.

I've been finding it hard to get into the latest season of [H]ouse. I used to swear by that show, but it's just not clicking with me right now.

NASCAR - used to be a die-hard fan. Watched every race from start to finish, including pre-race shows and post-race interviews. Then about 6 or 7 years ago, just lost interest. It got too corporate.

There are many television shows that peak early or go on far too long. Glee, Lost, anything CSI. It's the nature of the beast in Hollywood. If it continues to make money it will keep on going for better or worse.

Glee indeed! There's been a couple "friends" that have worn thin on my nerves. Reality TV has always been annoying, but the advent of my grandmother moving closer has meant more watching TV with her. I do like RuPaul's Drag Race though, and Flava of Love was entertaining for the in the first season and a half. I'm a picture framer and I used to like metal frames, now I just think they're tacky.

It gave me hope that basic cable TV could be something really special but then it ended with - The End.
Now for fans that loved the ending please be clear I "got" The End and I can appreciate the message it offered but I had hoped for so much more. I wanted my mind BLOWN and hoped I'd be re-watching each season, unraveling the mysteries that made for this epic story and talking it over with my LOSTaholic friends for time to come. What really hurt was I was told to expect that "WOW" outcome by the creators.
Instead I look at my S1-6 DVDs with disdain and frustration. GGggrrrrrr!!!

I can't get into Glee this season. The stretches between musical numbers only serve to annoy me. If I hear later that the singing during a particular song was outstanding, I'll watch only that bit online.

I no longer enjoy the taste of salmon (nor the odor). Up until a year ago, I'd always order salmon while dining out if it was available. And, I'd cook it at home quite often too.
I have however discovered a few things I enjoy better than those things over the last year. Maybe the new enjoyments are replacing what I used to think was enjoyable.

"Hip-Hop"- the gems of yesteryear hold so much more water that the paperthin songs of today. That's not to say there aren't those who are still true to this chosen form of expression, but the majority aren't worth a second of my time.

I can think of a lot more things that I hated and now I like. The most prominent one is the TV show Friends. When that show was on I HATED it with a passion. I didn't date girls that liked it. I mocked anyone who quoted it. I thought it was literally pandering to the lowest of the low.

Now I love it. I own the complete set on DVD. It reminds me of the 90s and I think it's really well written.

I have certainly ceased to be amazed by the things that are broadcast on television - with the exception of David Attenborough's series on the planet's lifeforms...

Glee used to be fantastic. It had so much potential. Somewhere after the first season it escalated.

Wow. That would be an exhaustive list! Ketchup and going to the cinema would rank up there (since the demise of $2.50 Tuesday and popcorn under $3!) And I think much of it would be "in the past".

Maybe as I age I'm mellowing and seeing all my fads for what they are: passing fancy.
And I also think when we over-indulge ourselves in something we "miss the signal" that "we're full" and keep going. Which then leads to a belly-ache.
