There's always this part of me that feels like I'm 16 years old and have no clue of what I'm doing and I'm just pretending to be 25. I certainly am more wise and have a completely different way of understanding the world than I did 9 years ago but the same principles and goals are still there.

I feel like I'm going through a transition where I'm developing a more responsible mindset in maintaining my youthful spirit.

I feel the total opposite, I feel older than I should because Im so busy taking care of everyone else around me that has decided they are never going to "grow up".

I'm definitely young at heart. I have a bag of water ballons in my car, and a box of chalk. If that doesn't say young at heart then i don't know what does!

Haha definitely! I'm 24 right now, definitely had some life trials and experiences that some people can say they haven't had in their lifetime, but I'm still a kid at heart. Always!

I'm not sure I was young at heart even when I was young. My adult self is a much better fit for me than my younger version was.

I loved the days of my youth, when nothing mattered. Thats why I act like a 2 year old.

If you mean getting up at 6:30 am to do bongs with my nieces and watch the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade, then yes. I am young at heart.

I just came back from a few hours playing with my nephews. I think we were laughing a lot because I give them plenty of reasons to laugh AT me. If you can laugh out loud in a public place without caring what anyone thinks you can stay young until the day you die.

One of my biggest laughs came at the Home Depot. I found this great deal on Varahane. regular $30 pn for clearance at $10. I go to the checkout and it rings in a $30 and my brother says, "I guess you get one for free" and the clerk scowls and just turns her back on us. We start laughing at her rudeness and my brother points at a sign that clearly says if an item rings up wrong on the cash register that the item in question, if $10 and under, will be free. I point out the sign and she says, "I know what it says but that's not what it means". She calls over the head cashier and the two of them are scowling at us as we start laughing out loud at their stupidity and I yell, get me a manager and my brother starts laughing harder. They were pissed. I got one can for free and the other for $10. We were laughing so hard as we walked out the door that I'm sure people knew that we must be young at heart or incredibly immature. Probably a combination of both.

I don't relate to the kid I was years ago, and even though I don't think I could get inside his mind if I tried, I still feel young at heart.

I remember trying to scale and balance myself on a partially-fallen dead tree for almost 20 minutes next to a busy road, falling and remarking all the same.
