The Art within Lifestyles

I've been wondering for a while what it would be like to look at Paintball and the lifestyle from the outside in. This is my last season for a while and not being a part of something that has been my life for the past six years seems so alien to me. I've actually wondered if I would lose site of the art that I find in it,
When I look at it and live it I can appreciate every tiny aspect that make it so significant. The places you travel, People, Food, Parties.
The Rush of playing and surviving on the field. The bitter sweet feeling of knowing for one Weekend, Day or Game you were a hero to your friends and yourself. That feeling that puts you on top of the world.

I can't describe it, words don't really encompass all the emotions that surround it. But that's where the art is for me.

Where do you find the art in your lifestyle?

Whenever I'm feelings suppressed, I find it incredible that I can write something intricately beautiful about my pain. Writing enables me to find art in all things... the cracks in a sidewalk, the dry remains of salt on a frozen, barren city street...writing about the cold, the empty, the dark surprisingly makes me understand more about myself and how everything holds beauty.

I keep finding new art in me and I love it! I knew I used to love to write poetry as a hippie, but suddenly, thanks to some SPeeps, I started again and now I can write poetry almost as easily as breathing. It is exciting and fun.

Damn i miss playing paintball! So i take it your pro? Judging from the size of the person in your picture you are probably a forward. Or are you a snake player? (my lingo may be dated its been a few years)
