question

Be real: Do you try and save others or simply try and learn from them?

Sorry, three questions today in close succession. One of my friends is talking a lot about saving others and how inferior they are. He also tries and mirror me, but when I see this it is like a cartoon, if that is his real viewpoint of me. I try and engage others to learn from them and better myself. Selfish, but I find I am constantly facing challenges and need to do this. I do keep the delusion or truth that this engagement helps them also become sharper. But if not, well, I improved my own self.

Selfish? Enlightened? Backwards dark? What is the better way? This way, I usually am seeing everything a person does is for a good reason by nature. What is "bad" is usually for a good reason... even if they do not think it out their own self.

What do you think?
