Which do you enjoy and/or value more: SP or Facebook?

Here you can ask questions and get various perspectives. If you are on Facebook, you probably know all your contacts, and assume they all like you. That can be good (people may understand you better and will not insult you). But, are you more careful on Facebook, knowing your friends' different views and values? I very much prefer SP to talk about deeper issues and on Facebook it's almost always small talk and catching up with friends. I don't normally use FB to discuss deeper things.

I only have an SP account. Facebook weirded me out too much.

I like both, but for different reasons. Also, for the record I actually know very few of my FB friends in person. I mostly use it for interacting with new people who share similar beliefs and values.

Interesting question, but it's very difficult for me to answer. I get a lot more mental stimulation from SP by a long shot, but that's not what I use FB for. I get more connected to the people I know using FB but that's not what I use SP for.

I own a facebook profile but only to say that I have one. Google's social network seems to the the wave of the future for finding jobs tho. But SP isn't a place for job searching, as that's not its purpose, so the point is moot.

I hate facebook...it's just become a socially acceptable place for people to brag and show off and maintain pointless "friendships". I've only belonged to SP since last night and I already like it way better.

SP by far. I have a FB but really only to stay in touch with my brother and nephew. I miss out on less of my nephew's growing up that way. I can see pictures of him and hear how he is and what is happening in his life and that is more important to me than putting stuff out there about me.

SP is about the diversity. Its not about finding likeminded people although that is always nice. It is about finding different viewpoints and mulling them.
I dont frequent my facebook account.

SP is more valued, but I can see what my son and my family is up to on Facebook.

I've learned more and have talked to more people on SP than Facebook. I actually deactivated my Facebook account a couple weeks ago.
