No, sometimes violence is necessary. Mindless, destructive for no purpose violence isn't great...I don't think I can have a strong answer one way or another. How does someone become pacifist? What about if your family was attacked being tortured in front of you? You would allow your family to be terrified and terrorized and not do anything to help them? I refuse that. If you are unwilling to defend your family and loved ones...in my opinion...you don't love them enough. This is not just a comment to the original poster, it's in general. I do not understand how someone could be pacifist. It seems like it goes against nature.

I dislike violence....and I will not watch shows or movies that have violence in them.It's not entertaining to me.

I hate violence unless it's in self-defense. It should obviously be only as a last resort though.
