Sample size aside, how do you go from this :
"43 percent said they believed divine intervention was at least partly responsible for his success.”
to this:
"43% of Americans believe God wants Tebow to win the Super bowl" ???????
Stir the pot much?
Seriously, if you don't like Tebow, don't watch him.
If you don't like religion, don't practice it.
Aside from that, how in the WORLD does this possibly affect you?

Why is this guy such a lightning rod for many of you? How intolerant can you be? Bill Press is WAYYY over the top on this. Tebow doesn't demand attention. He expresses his faith. Big deal. Can we all proceed with lift now, or do you still have a bit of that stick left to pull out of your arse?

Melb2 brings up a good point. 1,076 people is hardly indicative of what Americans believe.

I honestly believe that God couldn't care less who wins the Super Bowl. I also think it's rather silly that this Tebow guy feels the need to put on a show before every game (from what I understand of the situation). Part of me believes he's only doing this because of the attention he receives for doing it.
Still, that's what I believe. I can't really say because I'm not in his mind.

I guess they also must now believe God is impotent. Patriots and iron chariots, God's kryptonite.

"A company called Poll Position called 1,076 people and asked them about the Denver Broncos quarterback. Quoting from a press release, “Seventy percent of respondents said they knew of Tebow’s success and among those aware of the Tebow phenomenon, 43 percent said they believed divine intervention was at least partly responsible for his success.”

no. 43% of the 1,076 people SURVEYED. not ALL Americans. that's roghly in the neighborhood of about 400 some odd folks. and were they all Denver fans?
with an estimated population of 309 BILLION thats a far cry from any majority.
so, good luck too Tebow.

Supports my idea that he's just doing it for attention. I bet you he retires and runs for office.

I seriously hope you guys don't think that all of those 43% ACTUALLY believe that. There is definitely going to be a large number of people who just think the Tebow hype is hilarious.
